Pictured before the Tourism Ireland board meeting in Enniskillen this week are (l-r) Hugh Friel, Chairman Tourism Ireland; Paul O’Toole, Chief Executive Tourism Ireland; and Arlene Foster MLA, Minister for Enterprise Trade & Investment.
The board of Tourism Ireland took the opportunity while they were in Enniskillen to meet with Minister Foster, as well as representatives of the tourism industry in Fermanagh, to discuss the forthcoming season and the extensive promotional programme which Tourism Ireland has in place across the globe.
Speaking before the board meeting, Hugh Friel, Chairman of Tourism Ireland, said: “We are delighted to be visiting Fermanagh for our Board Meeting. 2009 will be an extremely challenging year for tourism and it is important that we work together to maximise the opportunities for Northern Ireland, and the island of Ireland generally, in the competitive overseas marketplace.”
