TV presenter Éamonn Holmes joined forces with Tourism Ireland over the St Patrick’s holiday, to promote the Causeway Coast and Glens to thousands of would-be holidaymakers in Glasgow. Northern Ireland music, food and great value deals and special offers from members of the Causeway Coast & Glens Partnership were all part of the fun.
Tourism Ireland’s spring marketing campaign is in full swing in Scotland right now, with a huge tactical focus. The campaign highlights the wonderful experience on offer in Northern Ireland and the great value and ease of access by air and sea. The campaign will continue throughout 2009, to secure exposure for Northern Ireland on TV, radio, in national and regional newspapers – particularly in the influential travel supplements, and in lifestyle and special interest publications. The new ‘Go Where Ireland Takes You’ advertising campaign is rolling out right now, driving Scottish consumers to where they will find best value offers and compelling reasons to visit Northern Ireland.
In this difficult year for inbound tourism, the industry in the Causeway Coast and Glens area, as well as air and sea carriers and market-based tour operators, are responding to the challenges and have provided Tourism Ireland with great value offers and deals to promote to consumers in Scotland and around the world.
