Leading tour operator Insight Vacations held its annual Sales Conference in Killarney earlier this week. Sixty of Insight’s top sales people from round the world flew in to attend the three-day conference. Their visit was co-sponsored by
Tourism Ireland. While here, the group took time out from their busy working sessions to enjoy a cruise on Lough Lein and a tour of Killarney by jaunting car.
Simon Gregory, Tourism Ireland’s Director of Brand Development & Markets, said: “Tourism Ireland is delighted to welcome the Insight Vacations sales team to the South-West. It is a great honour for Ireland to have been chosen for this sales conference.
“It is extremely important for influential decision-makers such as these to experience for themselves the exceptional beauty of Killarney and Co Kerry and the high standard of our tourism product here, so that they can spread the good news and sell more effectively when they return home and entice even greater numbers of visitors from around the world to come and holiday here.”
