US Marketing Activitites

 

Visitors from the United States are vitally important to the island of Ireland. They stay longer and spend more per head than visitors from other markets. Research in late 2006 showed that interest in visiting the island of Ireland had never been as strong, with over 12 million Americans expressing an interest in visiting in the next few years.

Tourism Ireland uses a variety of marketing communications tools to get our message across to potential US visitors. These include extensive promotional and publicity campaigns in key geographies and gateways for travel to the island of Ireland; tv, radio and print advertising and direct marketing using the web and traditional methods,
