France Marketing Activities

France is the fourth largest market for visitors to the island of Ireland and recorded unprecedented growth in 2006. The spread of French holidaymakers around the island also improved in 2006, probably assisted by significant improvements in direct air access.

The Tourism Ireland team in France uses a variety of marketing communications tools to reach potential visitors. These include advertising, publicity, direct market (on and off line) and promotions.
