Tourism Ireland - Austria
Austria, Switzerland and Eastern European markets performed well to the island of Ireland in 2006, although from a small base. Further growth in holidaymakers is being targeted to capitalise on improvements in direct access. Our challenge is to stimulate more consumers in these markets to visit us “now”, given the wide variety of destination choices available to them.
