More than 400,000 readers of Elle magazine in France will be finding out all about Belfast and Northern Ireland this autumn – following the recent visit of acclaimed Paris-based foodie and best-selling cookbook author, Trish Deseine.
Trish – who was born and grew up in Northern Ireland – has lived and worked in France for many years. She is a regular contributor to Elle magazine and was invited here by Tourism Ireland in Paris, to sample some of our top tourism products – including some of our visitor attractions, great new places to eat and interesting places to shop, as well as our spectacular scenery.
Her busy itinerary was designed by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and included a day in Belfast, exploring what the city has to offer French holidaymakers – places like the Merchant Hotel, Titanic Belfast, SS Nomadic and St George’s Market. She then headed along the Causeway Coastal Route taking in the Glens of Antrim, the Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, the Giant’s Causeway and Dunluce Castle, before ending her trip in Londonderry.
