Top tour operators from the US, France, Canada, Spain and Austria visited Mussenden Temple on a fact-finding trip to the North Coast.
Flown in by Tourism Ireland to participate in the annual Meet the Buyer workshop, which took place in The Venue, on the Ebrington site in Londonderry last week, the tour operators then travelled along the Causeway Coastal Route to the spectacular setting of Mussenden Temple, where they had time to enjoy the view of Downhill beach and beyond. Before arriving on the North Coast the group had toured Derry, taking in the Peace Bridge and St Columb’s Cathedral. Following their stop at Mussenden they also visited the Giant’s Causeway, the rope bridge at Carrick-a-Rede and Dunluce Castle.
The visit of the international tour operators was organised by Tourism Ireland in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
