A mother and daughter team from one of Switzerland’s top tour operators, Golf Sport Team, visited Royal Portrush last week as part of a fact-finding trip to the North Coast.
Flown in by Tourism Ireland to participate in the annual Meet the Buyer workshop, which took place in the newly-opened Titanic Belfast, Barbara and Brigitte Albisetti then travelled along the Causeway Coastal Route to the Giant’s Causeway where they had a ‘sneak peek’ of the new visitor centre due to open at the start of the summer. The pair also visited Londonderry where they walked across the Peace Bridge, toured St Columb’s Cathedral and had a tour of Derry’s city walls.
The visit was organised by Tourism Ireland in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
