Top tour operators from the US, Germany, the Nordic region and Italy visited some of Belfast’s iconic sites on a recent fact-finding trip to Northern Ireland.
Flown in by Tourism Ireland to participate in the annual Meet the Buyer workshop, which took place in the newly-opened Titanic Belfast, the tour operators then explored some of the city’s older, distinctive buildings including Crumlin Road Gaol, Belfast City Hall and the Titanic Drawing offices.
The group also saw the MAC (Metropolitan Arts Centre), the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum and Cultúrlann Arts Centre.
The visit was organised by Tourism Ireland in conjunction with the Northern Ireland Tourist Board.
