BIT attracts over 150,000 visitors each year, including many thousands of potential Italian holidaymakers looking for ideas and suggestions for their next short break or holiday destination. The show also attracts influential travel media, tour operators, EFL (studying English as a Foreign Language) providers and travel agents, who can help spread the message about tourism to Ireland.
Tourism Ireland will have a busy promotional programme in place in Italy throughout 2011, highlighting compelling reasons to visit Ireland with messages of friendliness, humour and inspiring scenery. Tourism Ireland will be working flat out to win business and to keep the island of Ireland ‘top of mind’ with potential Italian visitors.
