A group of influential journalists from across China enjoyed an action-packed visit to Northern Ireland recently.  Representing six leading Chinese newspapers and magazines, with a combined circulation of almost seven million readers, the journalists were invited here by Tourism Ireland in Beijing to research some of our top attractions for feature stories they are writing about holidays in Northern Ireland.

Their itinerary, designed by the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, took in the Causeway Coastal Route, including a visit to the Giant’s Causeway.  The group then headed to Holywood where they discovered the delights of the ‘TITANICa’ exhibition at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum.  The following day they enjoyed a whistle-stop tour of Belfast, taking in the Titanic Quarter.
