Industry partners from around the island of Ireland joined Tourism Ireland at IFTM (International French Travel Market), formerly TOP RESA, which took place in Paris recently. IFTM is the largest travel trade exhibition in France, attracting almost 30,000 trade visitors each year. Visitors to the event include influential business tourism decision-makers, as well as leading French travel media, tour operators and travel agents.
Tourism Ireland has an extensive promotional programme in place in France right throughout 2010, highlighting the great value on offer as well as compelling reasons to visit. The message in France is that there has never been a better time to visit the island of Ireland.
